We have been creating travel experiences in Vietnam since 1993, but as a group Topas started two decades earlier in 1973. Adventure is in our soul. Indeed, our Vietnam journey all began with an adventure to the mountains of Sapa by our founder. At that time there were no major operators in the area. We partnered with a local family to create pioneering tours and treks in the hills. Today we operate out of our bases in Hanoi and Sapa. We offer B2B and B2C group tours and bespoke individual tours. Alongside our travel business, Topas includes Topas Ecolodge, Topas Riverside Lodge and Vietnam Trail Series. Charity and sustainability are at the very heart of our company. Since 2013 our trail series has donated over USD300,000 to good causes and our lodges stand as examples of best practice in food waste reduction and re-use, plastic use reduction and more.
