The JV Company Minda Kosei Aluminum Wheel Pvt. Ltd. (MKA) is established with its head office in Bawal, Haryana and is the largest alloy wheel manufacturer in India. MKA is engaged in the development, manufacturing and sales of aluminium alloy wheels for major OE car manufacturers and aftermarket in India. Minda Kosei has 2 plants in India, 1st plant is located in North India in Bawal, Haryana with an annual capacity of 1.5 Mn wheels and 2nd plant in Dekavada, Gujarat with an annual capacity of 1.1 Mn wheels, expanding upto 1.5 Mn by 2020. MKA has a strong local production base to offer market-leading, technology intensive Alloy wheels to India and global OEMs. The most important aspect of the JV is the availability of Japanese GDC technology in aluminum casting, which KOSEI has infused in this joint venture.
