Child Protection and Safeguarding Consultancy

The Child Protection and Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd provides advice, support, training and consultancy to the education sector and all children's services. We also occasionally arrange conferences to to enable professionals to receive updates in the fast moving world of child protection, to discuss concerns and solutions and to share their expertise. The CPSC was founded by Ann Raymond in 2006. Ann's background is in education and she also worked for NSPCC for several years. Ann is the author of 'The Child Protection and Safeguarding Handbook for Schools' (affectionately known as 'the big purple') which was updated and reissued in July 2013. An ebook, 'Protecting Children and Young People with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs' was published in 2010. Ann also develops training packs to assist nominated safeguarding leads to deliver courses on key areas of child protection to their staff teams. 'Managing Neglect and Lower Level Concerns' and 'Sexual Exploitation and Grooming' were both published in 2013.
