For more than 30 years, the Tourism Center has been a leader in Extension education and research. Our core programs focus on community tourism development, festival and event management, and customer service education. These programs have earned a national reputation. Minnesota's $15 billion tourism industry relies on research and education from the University of Minnesota Tourism Center. Our work informs local decision-making, educates the workforce, and builds knowledge and skills essential to creating positive visitor experiences in communities across the state.
