KIDS is the charity working with disabled children, young people and their families. In its 50 years, it has pioneered a number of approaches and programmes including keyworking, home learning (Portage), Parent Partnerships Services, inclusive adventure playgrounds, transitions services and training on including disabled children in mainstream settings. We aim to empower disabled children and young people to develop their skills and achieve their aspirations. We create opportunities for them to take part in play, learning, leisure, skills training and social activities. Our success is based upon building a close partnership with parents, carers and siblings and helping them find solutions to the obstacles they meet in daily life. KIDS' vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations. KIDS' mission is to support and empower disabled children and young people to have fun, learn and grow with confidence into adulthood. UK Registered Charity No: 275936
