Bangkok Patana School

Established in 1957, Bangkok Patana School is the original and only not-for-profit British school in Bangkok. We offer a world class education in the British tradition to over 2,200 children and young adults from more than 60 different nationalities. The School's mission is to ensure that students of different nationalities grow to their full potential as independent learners in a caring British international community.\In today's rapidly changing and challenging world we believe it to be the school's primary task to foster in its community a life-long love of learning and a sense of responsible citizenship. Our educational programmes are designed to develop the understanding, skills and attitudes that support this. We believe that as we move through the processes of inquiry, discussion, decision making and reflection, we develop an understanding of ourselves, of other people and of our world.\Children can enter our Nursery at age 2 and graduate age 18, with most going on to attend world class universities around the world. Our academic programme has its roots in the National Curriculum for England up to students sitting (I)GCSEs in Year 11, but has been further developed and constructed to celebrate the international context in which the school resides.
