Climate LinkUP

Established in early 2021, Climate LinkUP is a UK-Norwegian initiative co-owned by Montel Group and supported by 100+ global partner organisations including the BBC, with a mission to accelerate science-informed global climate action through collaboration, exchange of climate knowledge and innovation moving towards a low carbon future. Together with our global partner organisations, we convene regular global events (virtual and in-person) to support this mission. Climate LinkUP supports businesses navigate the green transition via corporate training resources, courses and events. Our Co-Founders, Dr Jo Maloney (UK-based) and Nicholas Martin (Head Energy Solutions, Hydro REIN, Norway) have more than 60 years' of combined global, high-level experience across the fields of environment and renewable energy - with a PhD in Marine Pollution and MSc in Energy Management respectively and extensive worldwide professional networks across all corners of the globe. Their complementary global backgrounds in Environment and Renewable Energy have strategically shaped the Climate LinkUP combined adaptation and mitigation approach. We connect global climate stakeholder groups via a custom-built, multi-stakeholder digital Climate LinkUP HUB Platform© - strategically planned in March/April 2021 to support climate knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer collaboration and network building to drive climate action. Our Climate LinkUP HUB Platform© is committed to bridging global inequality gaps and is completely free for all global members, with no charges. "Accelerating climate action together, it's now in our hands" our brand tagline indicates the upcoming Climate LinkUP HUB Platform© phone APP. Our non-profit Foundation: Adaptation and Mitigation Program (AMP) accelerates strategic delivery of science-informed climate solutions with our expansive Global South networks. AMP is informed by a world-class Scientific and Technical Expert Panel of prominent climate professionals.
