ELSA Sweden

ELSA is the world's largest independent law students' association. It comprises a membership of 50.000 students and recent graduates with the purpose to contribute to legal education, to foster mutual understanding and to promote social responsibility of law students and young lawyers. ELSA operates primarily through its local groups, which are located at nearly 350 universities throughout 44 countries in Europe. The official vision of ELSA is "A just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural diversity". ELSA Sweden is a national group within ELSA and has 8 local groups which are located in Umeå, Uppsala, Stockholm, Örebro, Linköping, Gothenburg, Lund and Karlstad.
