Mental Health Solutions (MHS) provides individual and family counseling, & consultative services for clients of all ages. MHS is built on the belief that everyone, no matter ability, reason, or need, should have access to services to enhance or improve their lives. As such, our approach to treatment is one of a clinical and consultative capacity. We seek to help people of all ages and backgrounds, families, and institutions assess what issues need to be addressed and provide specific steps to accomplish those goals. Our therapeutic investment is in the care and empowerment of individuals, families, and caregivers. Whether it's by improving one's quality of life by reducing suffering, or by helping individuals identify and leverage their capacity to maximize their own outcomes. We use a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal neurobiological focus to assist in identifying goals, while understanding one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as they move to achieve their life goals. Our professional approach is one that encourages one's strengths, internal traits, and individual differences that contribute to personal and professional growth and an improved quality of life. We are also a strong advocate of using psychological assessments as a therapeutic intervention. Assessments provide unique information that allows people to gain insight and awareness, and apply the insight to problems in their life. It allows for focused, targeted, and solution-oriented treatment that cannot always be obtained through therapy alone. In addition, as a Veteran owned and operated organization, we bring personal perspective and professional experience that is attuned to the unique difficulties and struggles that affect the military population and their loved ones.
