In 1988, Bagan Specialist Centre, a 149-bedded hospital was built in the midst of a thick, green forest and mangrove along the Prai River. We continue to envision to be the hospital of choice for affordable quality healthcare for the people in mainland Penang and the Northern region. We commit to provide affordable quality healthcare, by wholeheartedly offering caring and comprehensive services at reasonable cost. We have embarked on a exciting journey to build a brand new building and refurbishment of the existing facilities to accommodate 330 inpatient beds, 9 operation theatres, 1 radiotherapy machines, 14 chemo bays, 8 labour suites, 70 clinics and even wider range of specialist consultants.
