In Uruguay, the business tradition was founded by Mr. Thomas John Schandy, who initiated a one-person activity as shipping agent on April 1st., 1948 and continued being managed under the Schandy family during three generations. AMS has during the years specialized as port agent of all kind of ships and cargos, naval artefacts and as shipping services advisory.
