Monte Seis Reis was created in the early nineties by Mr. Helder de Almeida, whose family is related to wine making since the beginning of 20th century. Since the start, it established a strategic partnership with one well-known winemaker from Extremoz. He helped manage vineyard and viticulture and Sociedade Agrícola da Capareira agreed to sell him all their grapes In March 03, decided to build its own winery and to start producing its wine - Monte Seis Reis (meaning six kings farm). Mission To produce and commercialise quality wine and other Alentejo traditional products, within a brand that preserves and promotes the cultural and historical identity of the regions targeting the most demanding customers around the world.
