Required skills: A passion for producing intuitive easy to use software Comprehensive knowledge in HTML(5), CSS, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript and associated libraries eg. jQuery Experience developing with Spring (including Spring Core and Spring MVC) and Hibernate applications Using RDBMS – Preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL Developing SOAP and RESTful web services XML Technologies: XSD, XSLT Writing code unit tests using JUnit, including the use of Mocks and Stubs Builds and deployments using Maven and ANT Good Object Orientated Analysis and Design skills Great communication skills, including the ability to communicate to both a technical and non-technical audience Optional skills: Experience in JEE Technologies: JDBC, JMS, JPA Integration using Camel or Mule Spring Client side application frameworks e.g. jQuery Tomcat Experience working in an Agile development team (Scrum) Knowledge of UK Health and Social Care market
