Learning to Work

Learning to Work is an independent organisation set up to facilitate links between education and local business in the East Berkshire area. Covering a geographical area that stretches from Langley through to Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Burnham, Ascot, Bracknell, Crowthorne and on into Sandhurst, we place on average 5,000 students from 35 secondary schools per year on work experience. We also work in schools to deliver enterprise and personal development training for students as well as Continuing Professional Development opportunities for staff. Our overall aim is to broker relationships between education and business to enhance employability skills and contextualise learning for the workforce of tomorrow.
