NiuPower Limited

NiuPower is a proud PNG company established in 2017 by Kumul Petroleum and Oil Search on a 50/50 basis. NiuPower operates on a commercial basis focusing on the development of power generation in PNG fuelled by PNG natural gas. With the creation of NiuPower and the development of the gas-fired Port Moresby Power Station, Kumul Petroleum and Oil Search directly contribute to the Government's energy objectives of electrifying 70% of PNG by 2030. NiuPower intends to be an ongoing contributor to PNG's electrification and industrial development by providing capital and expertise to support the Government's strategy.
