StatMind BV, with its head office in the Netherlands and its African branch StatMind Institute for Management and Development (located in Lusaka, Zambia), offers a range of research and education related services. Statmind's business philosophy is focused on the links between education, research and consultancy: we advise public and private organizations on their long-term strategies based on our own ongoing economic and business research agenda. StatMind's aim is to set the standard for academic and applied strategy oriented research and training in Africa. Our global network offers excellent opportunities for international comparison, and exposure to international best practices. The DBA and the PhD are designed to be our flagship programs. The programmes are unique in many ways. Since it includes a complete Master of Research the program is open to holders of a Bachelor degree. The coursework is highly innovative and trains students in the use of the latest techniques and tools. New techniques, tools and topics are continuously developed resulting in elective courses; in consultation with their supervisors, students can tailor the coursework to their needs. All students will benefit from the feedback not only of their supervisors but also from a committee that monitors their progress. This structure aims at a 100% success rate. Students who prefer PhD to DBA can benefit from the partnerships that StatMind has with European universities. Since StatMind operates DBA/PhD programmes in Zambia, and in Tanzania (in partnership with ESAMI).
