SIBE is a media organisation driven by students at Warwick University and Sheffield and which works with professional journalists and other organisations around the UK. SIBE's unique journalistic model sees it conducting investigations where stakeholders are engaged to not only articulate their point of view but to also co-create with other stakeholders solutions that address everyone's concerns. SIBE's mission is to facilitate a new form of media, where the role of journalists is to not only shine a light on people differences but to enable people with differences to understand where they share concerns and their areas for mutually beneficial action for all involved. SIBE's vision is to encourage only constructive action and to enable all parts of society to engage with the journalistic process, a vision that we believe is possible in the age of communication.
