Seerene is the first integrated Digital Engineering Platform for the end-to-end management of software systems. Seerene's software analytics platform provides actionable insights into software development processes, source code, system evolution, and software developers. Seerene, using AI, extracts the meta data and analyses it holistically and with respect to various issues in software development, such as for risk prevention, effort estimation, team composition, etc. The analytics platform incorporates all phases of the software development process and software delivery (end-to-end). By leveraging AI to integrate all available data from tools, methods, and metrics, Seerene creates a new foundation of shared knowledge and insights in the form of their ‘Digital Boardroom', empowering the decision-markers in software engineering. The Seerene Digital Boardroom becomes the central reporting, control, and management system, with which the various factors in software development are optimally aligned with company goals and objectives. Seerene's SaaS-based analytics platform works independent of the programming languages, software methodology, software technologies, and software frameworks. The platform uses AI and machine learning to analyze complex relationships that occur during software development. Sereene has offices in Potsdam and Berlin. The startup started as the offspring of fifteen years of research at the Hasso Plattner Institute. Seerene is funded by Lakestar and Earlybird, two of the most prominent VCs in Europe. In 2016, it won the Digital Top 50 ‘Best Startup' award from Google and McKinsey & Company. In 2018, Seerene was placed in the Microsoft Scaleup program for the most innovative postseries A startups in Europe.
