Frankfort Plant Board

The Frankfort Plant Board (FPB) was created in 1943 as a municipal utility to provide low cost electric and water utility service to the citizens of Frankfort and Franklin County. Much has changed in the 60+ years since FPB opened its doors: Frankfort has more than doubled in size, technology has advanced infinitely, and FPB has grown into a total home solution resource for Cable TV, Local Telephone, High Speed Internet and more. Throughout these changes, FPB has remained close to the ever-expanding Franklin County community. Because of this tight bond, FPB has been able to focus on the needs of local families, using new technology to provide a variety of dependable services at prices among the lowest in the nation.
