An organization established in 2003 by Kathleen Warner Yeates, which engages the skills of performing artists, directors. and writers for the purpose of tuition in the performing arts, theatrical and film production, corporate training, wellness and sharing methodologies. FLYING TURTLE PRODUCTIONS has established itself as a studio known for a very high standard of arts tuition and production, providing part-time adult and youth courses in performing arts and screenwriting, with small class sizes and very experienced, dedicated master tutors. Courses that culminate in a public performance have a high standard of achievement, and tend to attract the student who is motivated and committed. Additionally, Flying Turtle Productions is a specialist in Customized Corporate Training as well as a "Directing Actors for Film Specialist Consultant". The Drama/Acting School was formerly known as the Abbey School of Drama was formerly based in the Abbey School of Music & Drama on Lower Abbey Street. In October 2016 it separated from the music school and became the Resident Performing Arts Company in the Ireland Institute on Pearse Street. We hope to expand over the next year to develop a core of actors in a production company for theatre and film. . Most class sizes are limited to 12 students maximum, in order to provide the highest quality of tuition for each participant, and many courses fill up far in advance of the start date so be sure to reserve early and get deposits in!
