The company was formed when NDE Clarke Transmissions acquired Pitchline Gears from Bibby Transmissions in 2002 creating a dedicated gear, spline and drive specialist with extensive UK based design and manufacturing capability and industry leading application knowledge. NDE offers OE supply direct to industry, badge engineered products for some of the UK's most prestigious power transmission brands, ‘make to drawing' services and complete mechanical drive line consultancy. In house skill sets include internal & external gear shaping/gear hobbing, gear grinding, heavy turning, milling, cylindrical grinding, keyway cutting and gear graphing and the most extensive spline hobbing capacity in the UK. Standard product ranges include high power gear couplings, heavy duty industrial cardan drive shafts, flexible couplings and complete drive systems.
