Persistence Labs

Persistence Labs is the driving force behind Persistence, a specialised decentralised Layer-1 Cosmos/Tendermint blockchain focussed on building the liquid staking hub of the Proof of Stake economy. Persistence facilitates the issuance and deployment of liquid staked assets through pSTAKE, allowing users to earn network staking rewards and also participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) simultaneously thus enhancing capital efficiency. On top of the Persistence blockchain live decentralised applications that are tailor-made for liquid staked assets: a decentralised exchange, a money market, a yield optimiser, etc. All the ecosystem products are designed to help make liquid staked assets the default asset class of the PoS economy. Persistence's Core mainnet is a Proof-of-Stake chain powered by the Tendermint BFT consensus engine. Persistence's multi-chain tech stack (currently supporting Cosmos, Ethereum, and other Tendermint-based blockchains) abstracts away the complexities for developers and enables them to create decentralized exchanges, marketplaces, lending/borrowing platforms, and the like. Essentially, Persistence Labs is building an ecosystem of multi-chain Web3 products for both retail and institutional users on the Persistence Core Blockchain. Persistence facilitates the issuance and deployment of liquid-staked stkASSETs, allowing users to earn staking rewards while participating in DeFi primitives, such as lending/borrowing and liquidity provisioning on DEXs. Persistence aims to offer a seamless staking and DeFi experience for PoS (Proof-of-Stake) users and enable developers to build innovative applications around stkASSETs.
