Social Boost

We conduct workshops, where we cover several important aspects including: 1. Importance of social media marketing for small charities, enterprises and community groups 2. MailChimp (an online email marketing service) 3. Instagram - advertising and marketing strategies 4. Canva (an online graphic design tool) 5. Facebook - events, page management, and advertising 6. Buffer (a social media management and analytical application) All participants of the workshop will need to bring a laptop to take part. Directions to UCD, etc., will be sent to participants closer to workshop dates. SocialBoost is an initiative under Enactus, started by a group of UCD students, which conducts social media marketing workshops for students in the term year to equip students with digital marketing and public skills who go ahead and indeed help charities with their social media presence to engage more people. Enactus is a global, non-profit organization that is changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1,700 university campuses in 36 countries. Enactus offers these students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise, thereby improving the standard of living for millions in the process.
