Ryde Academy

Ryde Academy is an 11-18 secondary school with 1200 students and approximately 150 staff. The Academy serves the community of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. It operates on a site which first opened as a school in 1963. Since September 2011 the Academy has been part of the AET family of Academies. We recognise that each student is an individual with a unique range of abilities, qualities and aspirations for the future. Our role is to ensure that all students can maximise their opportunities and outcomes and to allow them to access their future pathways. We must ensure a personalised and individual educational experience for all students celebrating the richness and diversity within our local community.
