Planting the Seed Foundation is a 100% volunteer, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless children and their families. Working together with our friends and our fellow citizens of this great city, Planting the Seed Foundation can help make the lives of those children and families around us just a little bit easier. Over the past 40 years, Planting the Seed Foundation has generated over $1,000,000 worth of toys, winter clothing and school supplies during our annual events. Planting the Seed Foundation does not fulfill assistance requests directly. We are a resource generation group that works with several local community outreach organizations in order to get Worcester's most needy what they need in the most efficient way possible. 100% of our donations are delivered to needy families. Planting the Seed knows that we can't accomplish our goals of helping the neediest of families in Worcester and Worcester County with out your support. Our future and our present depends solely on the generosity of our supporters, contributors and corporate partners. Simply put, Planting the Seed is 100% non-profit, 100% all volunteer. There are no salaries, no benefits packages, no marketing budgets and no government grants. Everything we are able to give, we have first received from you. Over 90% of all donations collected throughout the year go towards meeting the needs of homeless, displaced and low income families leaving shelters and establishing themselves in the Worcester community.
