BIOVELA Group was established in 1994 by a family which sought to produce high quality meat products from locally sourced livestock. Today BIOVELA Group is the largest and the most innovative meat-processing company in Lithuania and one of the leading meat manufacturers in central Europe with large portfolio of fresh meat products, processed meat products and meat snacks. BIOVELA Group unites 1400 staff members and its production totals around 70,000 tons of meat products per year. The Group's annual turnover stands at EUR 235 million. BIOVELA group focuses on responsible consumption and sustainable production. Owning a largest solar power plant in Northern Europe supports that purpose. 25% of our electricity consumption comes from renewable energy and we baldly dream to reach a complete energy autonomy in the future.
