At PAIN we believe in non-surgical management of painful conditions. We aim for optimal pain relief to assist with getting you back to doing the things you love. Some of the conditions and treatments that we manage at our clinics are Arthritis, Headaches, Neurological Pain, Fibromyalgia, Back and Neck Pain, Referred Pain, HIV Related Pain, Cancer Pain. We also perform non-surgical interventions such as injections, nerve blocks and rhizotomies. Pain was inspired by a group of individuals who share a passion for conservative and holistic management of patients. This interdisciplinary team decided to turn their vision into a reality and have united their services in our different clinics. Our team consists of various pain practitioners with specialties in Neurosurgery, Anaesthesiology, Physiotherapy, Biokinetics, Occupational therapy, Movement therapy, Dance therapy and so much more. Our neurosurgeon is Dr Liebenberg who has been treating pain for more than 20 years. He spearheads the team of pain practitioners with combined expertise across the spectrum of painful conditions. With expertise in pathophysiology of medication and analgesia, our anaesthetists and other pain specialists can assist with managing your pain medication for optimal relief and return to function.
