The Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix Network The Franchisor Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix is a licensor of full-service retail drug stores (in Quebec of licensed retail stores adjacent to dispensary collectively referred to herein as Community Pharmacies) operating under the name Shoppers Drug Mart® outside of Québec (Pharmaprix® in Québec). Founded in 1962 by Toronto pharmacist Murray Koffler, the Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix network has grown to a national network of more than 1,250 licenced and affiliated Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix stores across Canada.
