We have searched high and low for modern hats and scarves offering style and coverage, clean skincare that addresses common side effects, organizational tools to help manage paperwork and put thoughts in order, and truly useful gift ideas to help friends and family express their heartfelt support. Friends and family also find themselves in need of guidance when someone they care about has been diagnosed and may be undergoing treatment. The idea for this website came about when towards the end of my treatment a dear friend and I began thinking about whether we could offer a complete resource that addressed both the concerns of a woman dealing with a diagnosis and a way for the people who care about her to show their compassion. There are so many amazing women with cancer for whom their roles as mothers, daughters, wives, co-workers and friends remain the top priority. Their stories of hope, optimism and the journey through treatment inspired us to create swallowtail. This website is dedicated to them.
