Charis Center for the Arts

: It is the Mission of the Charis Center for the Arts to build a center for young artists to engage in theatre, dance, music, and visual arts, showcase their many talents, bring performing arts to the community, and provide training and education in the performing and visual arts. The Charis Center for the Arts is also committed to providing a performance venue to new artists as a means of sharing their craft with the community. Further, the mission of the Old Bowie Charter School for the Arts is to enlighten, excite, and educate the students through theatre, dance, music, and visual arts. Both the Center and the School value the gifts of every child and are committed to opening doors to the performing arts for all children.
