From its very beginning, eslite has never been just a bookstore. We are about creating cultural spaces where books, visual and performing arts, design, coffee, and people come together. For over a quarter century now, we have been spreading knowledge and culture in the widest sense. Each year, our more than 40 stores in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China hold more than 5000 cultural performances and activities, attracting 144 million visitors from around the world, who help shape the positive and gentle spirit of the eslite spaces. Over a quarter of a century, we have dedicated ourselves to spreading our core values of ‘Humanities, the Arts, Creativity and Life‘ and cultivating a spirit of ‘spreading joy and creativity'. Reading has always been the heart of our business, and over time, our activities have extended to touch every aspect of life. By now, we are a cultural and creative platform that supports our bookstores, galleries, arts and events, food service, lifestyle brand, online presence, logistics, residences, and a hotel—all rooted in the rich soil of culture. Looking to the future, the eslite team will continue to serve with sincerity and break new grounds in the cultural industry, keeping our feet on the ground and our hearts in the sky.
