A Design Consultancy offering architectural design and project management services in North East England. The Company Director, Philip Newbold, was formerly a Senior Associate at Devereux Architects in their Sedgefield office. He has over 20 years experience in designing buildings for people with disabilities covering a wide variety of projects from multi-occupancy residential units to individual domestic projects for clients who have suffered personal injury or who have become disabled as a result of medical negligence. He has also specialised in the design of new-build and extension projects in the Education sector, including SureStart, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, City Learning Centres, Colleges and Universities. He has completed a number of conservation and restoration projects on high-profile Listed Buildings. More recently, he has taken a keen interest in sustainable building design and in particular, PassivHaus. He completed a CEPH course at The University of Strathclyde in May 2011 and qualified as a Certified European PassivHaus Consultant, one of only two in North East England Philip and his wife have now self-built their own CSH Level 5 passive house / office in Upper Weardale and are now benefiting from the comfort and low energy living in a Conservation Area and AONB
