Ghatge Patil Transports Pvt Ltd. more fondly known as GPT is part of the Ghatge Group based at Kolhapur in Maharashtra, India. It is a pioneer Parcel Transport company which started its activities in the early 1940s with a small fleet of trucks and a handful of Booking and Delivery Offices. In 1958 our company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company. We went on expanding our network of Branches and increasing our fleet of trucks and soon became a Public Limited Company with a nationwide network of Booking and Delivery offices. Right from the beginning we specialized in Parcel Transportation to offer premium services. At present we have a network of more than 200 branches spread across 7 States of India and a fleet of about 1000 trucks specially built for Parcel Transportation. We have been using Hub and Spoke system for Parcel Transportation and have a number of well equipped Transshipment Stations at geographically suitable locations.
