The UCTS is the culmination of the State of Sarawak's vision and commitment in establishing a world-class institution of higher learning to spearhead the development and production of highly qualified and technically competent human resource for Sarawak and the region. Our vision is to be a global technical university founded on science and technology. UCTS will embark on strong industrial and international linkages to complement its teaching, research, entrepreneurial and innovation activities. The next few years will be an exciting period for UCTS as it goes through the process of establishing itself as the preferred university and the Apex for Technical Education in Sarawak. In line with the government's plan to transform technical education, UCTS will provide the route and opportunity for students in technical and vocational education pursuing certificate and diploma level studies to pursue applied oriented bachelor programs and also postgraduate level studies at UCTS.
