Camfil India started as a Joint Venture between Anand Group and Camfil, Sweden, by buying over the business of erstwhile Anfilco. During the JV Camfil held the majority of 76% stake in the company. The same was incorporated in April 2008. In April 2011, Camfil bought over the balance 24% stake of Anand and thus Camfil India became a 100% subsidiary of Camfil AB, Sweden.
