Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University was founded in 2018 by Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust, Established Under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 & Approved by Chhattisgarh Private University Act,2005, "to promote the public welfare by exercising an influence in behalf of humanity and civilization." His Holiness Shri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj decided to build a university as the most fitting memorial. The university campus is located in Raipur, capital of Chhattiagrh. The SRU made their plans just as the modern research university was taking form. At SRU we benchmark only against the best institutions around the world. Our faculty and senior team travel all over the globe to learn and imbibe the best practices so that we can give a solid foundation for learning.
