Updata Infrastructure (www.updata.net), part of Capita plc, is a pioneering connectivity services integrator. We are dedicated to providing end-to-end network services that help organisations to deliver increased business agility and service performance. Updata connects over 12% of UK schools and is the networking specialist underpinning public sector networks including Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Through the integration of Updata's own infrastructure with other carrier networks, customers benefit from a flexible service and commercial model providing a robust platform supporting delivery of services to multiple public sector bodies within a region. This approach ultimately enables seamless sharing of infrastructure and services, leading to savings across both the network service and the wider organisation. Updata was acquired by Capita PLC in 2014.
