Specialty Certified Medical Assistant (SCMA)

Our mission is to provide additional value and credentials to individuals in the Medical Assisting profession. SCMA offers Medical Assistants an opportunity to become certified in their specialty. Other medical professionals are specialized, and now you can be too. Retaining a specialized certification shows expertise in your field, and possessing a SCMA will make you standout. We offer 13 different specialties in which you may choose to become certified. Our certification ensures that medical assistants are recognized for their superb skills and extensive knowledge in their field. We also provide physicians a way to quantify the experience and knowledge of medical assistant applicants. A SCMA™ ensures that a new hire will add value to the practice.
