Working since 2002 at the federal government's Centre for Disease Control and Prevention as a trusted Program/Funding Resource Specialist and Team Leader, I have developed a proven methodology for managing billions of dollars of public funds and assessing their effectiveness. It's a rare skill set that perfectly caters to the needs of NPOs, and I'm proud to have played a role in ensuring money goes where it's needed most, including: ~ Managed and led grants related to injury and vaccines ($17 million and $4.95 billion Vaccines for Children program) allocated to states. ~ Manage the Working Capital Funds - $215 million and $6.2 billion (COVID-19) - allocated to one of the four CDC Business Services Offices. ~ Headed Budget Planning for the Agency and received recognition for my team's management of the CDC's three budget submissions, totaling $6-$7 billion, during the fiscal year.
