International Academy of Suriname

The International Academy of Suriname (IAS) offers the only accredited American education to students from all over the world residing in Paramaribo, Suriname. We serve students in pre-kindergarten (age 3) through grade 12 (equivalent to VWO). IAS has served the country of Suriname, its international and local communities, since 1984. Reflecting the diversity of Suriname, the school is open to students of every race, nationality, and religion. *IAS and its curriculum, faculty, and facilities have been accredited by the AdvancED Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) since 2003.
