ZenFi Networks, a BAI Communications company, was founded in December of 2013 with a vision of creating a new type of network to solve the infrastructure challenges associated with mobile networks. We understand that not all fiber networks are created equal and recognize that wireless operators need innovative and accessible fiber architecture to support their wireless applications. That's where we come in. ZenFi Networks built the first of its kind, C-RAN-enabling, fronthaul fiber network in New York City. Our merger with Cross River Fiber (founded in 2011) has expanded our network reach into New Jersey and further enhanced our product portfolio, and geographic footprint for our customers. Now as part of the BAI Communications Group we've expanded our global capabilities with operations across the United States as well as in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Hong Kong, Canada and Australia. With the backing of BAI and their majority shareholder, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), ZenFi Networks will continue to expand and innovate our services for our customers. Our collective team of industry veterans have been building and engineering fiber optic networks in the New York and New Jersey metro region for over 30 years. With this knowledge, ZenFi Networks has deployed a truly 5G enabled communications infrastructure network. We worked hand in hand with fiber cable and duct manufacturers to customize our fronthaul fiber optic cable duct assembly that has been deployed throughout the New York City region. This innovative product, along with an architecture backed by network edge colocation and rich fiber backhaul, has enabled the major mobile network operators, as well as large enterprises and wholesale companies, to deploy their networks quickly and cost effectively throughout the region.
