Founded by JD Sports Fashion plc in October 2015, The JD Foundation receives 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of carrier bags. Alongside this, a number of corporate fundraising activities are undertaken by JD employees, which has significantly contributed to over £2.5 Million that has been donated to a range of incredible charity partners. The JD Foundation now supports 18 charity partners, not only with vital funding, but also with donations of sportswear and equipment, as well as crucial ongoing business support and guidance. All monies raised by the JD Foundation (excluding bank and audit fees) are distributed among these charity partners, with a small reserve left for emergency funding if required.
