Green Hills Community Action Agency

GHCAA, a private, non-profit community action agency serving a fourteen county area of Missouri known as the Green Hills Region, focuses on assisting low-income people in their efforts to become self-sufficient by providing services to enable them to improve their financial, physical, mental and social level, and by operating programs designed to motivate individuals to help themselves. The agency endeavors to make the community aware of the problems encountered by low-income people and serves as an advocate of low-income residents by strengthening communications, mutual understanding and the planning and coordination of programs designed to serve the low-income community.
