Medtrade is a dynamic, independent, medical device developer and ISO 13485 certified manufacturer with a successful history of providing cutting edge Advanced Wound Care and Consumer Healthcare products to brand owners, and branded Trauma products to global distributors. We are a highly experienced team with a wealth of knowledge in materials science, regulatory and quality requirements, and manufacturing processes. We own a portfolio of patents, and partner with a network of primarily UK based subcontract manufacturers. Medtrade operate as 3 divisions from our head office: two trading businesses, Advanced Wound Care and Trauma, and an investment arm that develops new technology. The Advanced Wound Care business designs, develops and regulatory approves medical device products for use in the care of chronic and acute wounds ranging from leg ulcers and pressure sores to burns and surgical sites. It also has a portfolio of products for the prevention of infections. The Trauma business is focussed on the treatment of emergency medical trauma and catastrophic bleeding. The Celox brand of products is established with many international militaries and the products are carried by all deployed front-line UK military personnel including special forces, and is now spreading into civilian emergency response.
