Centre at Threeways

Threeways is a forward thinking social enterprise based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. In June 2013 the organisation was successful in effecting the community asset transfer of the former Ridings School, a 108,000 square foot former secondary school which was closed in 2009. The Threeways Centre is now an emerging community, health and wellbeing hub for North Halifax, housing some of the most deprived communities in England. The site currently houses a GP Practice delivering primary care, a sports centre and a community centre which contains a 300+ seater auditorium and ancillary rooms as well as a boxing club and a small number of businesses in managed workspace. The remaining parts of the site are to be redeveloped and refurbished over the next 3 years to house a range of cross sector partners delivering the health and wellbeing agenda.
