Baycrest is a leader in cognitive neuroscience and memory research, with the goal of transforming the journey of aging. The stellar reputation of the Rotman Research Institute reflects its ability to raise and answer fundamental questions about memory, aging and the neuroscience of cognition. The affiliated Kunin-Lunenfeld Applied & Evaluative Research Unit, through Baycrest Innovation, leads the way in demonstrating how this research informs applied, translational research around the world. Scientists at the Rotman Research Institute (RRI) continue to make new discoveries in cognitive neuroscience and develop new tools and techniques to apply this knowledge across a range of disciplines. With EEG, MEG, MRI and eye-tracking facilities devoted solely to research, as well as systems enabling the use of multiple imaging facilities simultaneously, the RRI is unique in Canada and one of a few such facilities in the world.
