U.S. European Command

USEUCOM is a unified combatant command (COCOM) whose mission is to maintain ready forces to conduct the full spectrum of military operations unilaterally or in concert with the coalition partners; to enhance transatlantic security through support to NATO; to promote regional stability; and advance U.S. interests within its area of focus, which includes 51 countries and territories. EUCOM one of two overseas COCOMs, and is the only one located within its area of focus.
