Set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and in collaboration with Fashion Institute of Technology, New York (FIT), National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is India's premier fashion school and a pioneer in design, management, and technology education related to the fashion industry in the region.
