Updata Infrastructure (www.updata.net), part of Capita plc, is a pioneering connectivity services integrator. We are dedicated to providing end-to-end network services that help organisations to deliver increased business agility and service performance. Updata connects over 12% of UK schools and is the networking specialist underpinning public sector networks including Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Through the integration of Updata's own infrastructure with other carrier networks, customers benefit from a flexible service and commercial model providing a robust platform supporting delivery of services to multiple public sector bodies within a region. This approach ultimately enables seamless sharing of infrastructure and services, leading to savings across both the network service and the wider organisation. Updata was acquired by Capita PLC in 2014. Later that year, Updata was combined with Capita's Network Managed Services (NMS) business to form the networks and managed services arm within Capita IT Enterprise Services (Capita ITES - http://www.capita-its.co.uk)
