DizajnDesign is an independent type foundry and graphic design studio located in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is focused on creating high quality typefaces with a contemporary attitude to provide useful yet enjoyable options for graphic designers all over the world. Founded in 2007. Ján Filípek studied Visual Communication at Academy of Fine Arts & Design Bratislava and Typeface Design Master "Type and Media" at Royal Academy of Art in the Hague (KABK), Netherlands. Since 2009 he has run his own typeface design studio DizajnDesign in Bratislava, Slovakia. So far he released 11 typeface families (Deva Ideal, Dezen, Poleno, Komu, Rukou, Anca, Preto Sans, Preto Serif, Preto Semi, Razom Script and Kontrast Grotesk). From time to time he organizes workshops with various topics like creating chocolate letters or creating new fonts. For the past 3 years he has been actively teaching calligraphy workshops.
